THE AUTHOR

R.N. (“Renn”) Ausable has lived an assortment of professional lives, from an early career in corporate finance and technology entrepreneurship, and after much fumbling, to part-time academic and advocate for community development.

More recently, he has accepted the midlife resignation that working with the written word, and wood, may be what he simply needed from the start. He holds master’s degrees in economics and finance. Along with his family, he is an avid nordic and alpine skier. Ausable lives with his wife and son in Connecticut and Massachusetts. This is his first work of fiction.
