For the central theme of my book, I wanted the love and romance section of poetry to relate to and inspire those of all ages and races to pursue love in their lives. I wanted to touch the hearts and minds of everyone who reads this book to feel love and thus be loved in return. The main theme of my work is love and life. I wanted to express my love for nature through the parts of the book in which I explore the seasons and share my interest in space and astronomy. I am a lover of the stars and wanted to show everyone that science is important within our everyday lives. I wanted to also highlight that writing can be spontaneous with the ‘poetic stream of writing’ and with this encourage others to pursue a similar path whether it’s professionally or within their own spare time. Finally, I wanted to express the therapeutic aspect of writing and highlight that the arts can help us grow, mature and feel at one with our own self through exploring our passions.
