He Kept The Colors is a war story which may well give a different viewpoint of war– it is a story of complete and absolute patriotism, of love of country, of one man’s love and respect for his country. It tells briefly of Michigan county regiments through the war…then it accompanies other Michigan men… stories that are often lost in the bigger story of war. Lastly, it follows one Michigan man and the flag he carried.
