
Bin Wu, MD, PhD, earned her medical degree from the Yunyang College of Tongji Medical University, followed by both her Master’s and Doctorate degrees from Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences. Upon completing her PhD, she moved to the United States to conduct advanced research as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Currently a limited-license physician in New York, Dr. Wu has dedicated her career to the intersection of clinical oncology and pioneering research. Driven by a profound commitment to patient care, her mission is to develop innovative therapies that empower cancer patients to live longer, higher-quality, and more fulfilling lives. Driven by the goal of helping cancer patients live longer, more fulfilling lives, Dr. Wu focuses her work on the intersection of clinical care and transformative research.
This book, The Innovation of Cancer Therapy, reflects her lifelong mission to push the boundaries of modern medicine. Dr. Wu is the proud mother of her only daughter, Lily Xu, an Applied Mathematics student at Harvard University. Lily’s deep understanding of modern science, such as medical information, computer technology, and data applications, provided invaluable support in the development of the technical frameworks within this work. Inspired by Lily’s passion for learning and her disciplined academic journey, Dr. Wu’s greatest prayer is for her daughter to continue her hard work and one day become a compassionate, skilled medical doctor in the United States, continuing the family legacy of healing.
