Dorothy C. Buck’s spiritual quest led her from many years as a Classical Ballet performer to Carmelite spirituality. Her interest in spirituality and psychology led to a Ph.D. in Religion and Literature from Boston University and an M.A. in Pastoral Counseling from Emmanuel College with further training at the Boston Institute for Psychotherapy. She continues to publish articles and books on spirituality and interreligious dialogue.

Her many life experiences include facilitating a monthly Muslim and Christian Interfaith prayer gathering inspired by the spirituality of Louis Massignon’s Badaliya and her life as a wife and mother with two children and two grandchildren to whom this memoir is dedicated.
