Eugene Sierras Jr. was born in Tucson, Arizona. He attended local schools, and graduated from the University of Arizona in 1964.
He was immediately called to active duty with the United States Navy and served until his retirement in 1986. During his service he served on various ships and fighter squadrons.
After retirement from the navy, he completed a second career with the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
He currently lives in Tucson, Arizona with his wife.
