This is a book of twelve stories of challenge and inspiration from the streets of an American inner-city. You will find yourself inspired by stories like “Irv” and challenged by “The Girl at the Dumpster.” These stories will reveal how Jesus, who “went a on a little farther” for us, leads us to “go on a little farther” for him.
The common link of these twelve stories is that they all took place between Thanksgiving Day and Christmas. They did not all occur in the same year, but they did occur within the holiday season. They are written in a devotional format, and while each takes place during the holidays, the stories promise to meet you right where you are anytime of the year.
