Cindy J. Anderson began studying French in 9th grade. Little did she know then that she would become an award-winning French teacher, teaching students from 1st grade through college. She has a B.A. in Elementary and Secondary Education & French and a M.A. in French. Anderson lives in a French farmhouse in Southern California where she enjoys the beauty around her with her Portuguese Water Dog, Gio.

Nina Rupena is a Bosnian-born artist, now living in rural Australia where she is restoring an old cottage and regenerating the land. She’s a painter, illustrator, and maker, who above all, enjoys creating and having fingers in many pots.
