For 32 years, Sergeant Eric Rogers stood on the front lines of the Los Angeles Police Department, a tireless guardian dedicated to protecting its citizens and upholding justice. A steadfast presence on the footbeats of housing projects and in the gang unit, his career also encompassed significant roles such as undercover narcotics, motor officer, and detective, all beginning with his early days as a field training officer. His distinguished service concluded as the Officer In Charge of the LAPD’s elite Metropolitan Division Mounted Platoon and as a leader in its Chaplain Corps.
