Why Wink?

Grief often slips in quietly but leaves a deep, lasting mark. It changes us- sometimes all at once, sometimes over time- but always in ways we didn’t expect.

It reshapes our days, our thoughts, and our prayers. It makes us question what we bleieved and sends us searching for what’s still true.

This devotional came from that search.

We’ve learned what it means to grieve with fath, to question and still trust, to cry and laugh in the same breath and to notice God, not after the pain, but right in the middle of it.

Each of us carries a different part of the same grief.

Morgan and Ashton both lost their firstborn sons to stillbirth- precious babies who were deeply loved but never took a breath here on earth.

Lori, their mom, lost her first born son, Ben, in a tragic car accident when he was just twenty-four.

This book isn’t just a collection of devotionals- it’s our familiy’s story of loss, hope and the God who held us through it all.

If you’re walking through grief- whether it’s new or something you’ve carried for years- we want you to know: You’re not alone. You don’t have to fix your grief or rush through it. You’re allowed to feel it, name it and take your time.

And even here, right where you are, you’re invited to look for God.

Because He’s here. Still holding. Still healing.

And if you’re paying attention, you might just catch Him wink. Xoxo
