Above all, I give thanks to God, who chose me, of all people, to share this beautiful journey. Thank You, Lord. <br><br>I am especially thankful for my incredible wife, Debra. Her deep wisdom and unwavering faith have been a guiding light throughout this process. She has been my rock, my inspiration, and my constant source of encouragement. Every day, I thank God for blessing me with Debra\u2014my partner in life and my dearest friend. <br><br>My heartfelt gratitude also goes to my daughter, LaTosha. Her early life experiences, particularly the birth of her son DeAundre, provided the foundation for this story. The recent arrival of her daughter, Aaliyah, further inspired me to begin writing. Through her eyes, I\u2019ve witnessed the strength, resilience, and beauty of a young mother\u2019s journey. <br><br>Lastly, I want to thank my son, Shawn, whose support has meant to the world to me.
