THE AUTHOR

Family

I was raised in an extended Catholic family in Brooklyn and Queens, New York. My wife Trish and I raised five children. We were married for 53 years before Trish started her new life with God. I live in Winchester, Virginia.

Career

After college I was drafted into the Army and retired after 20 years of Service. I then served as an Information Technology Manager supporting the Government for 28 years. After 15 years of owning and managing a horse farm, I retired and wrote this book.

Parish

I supported my Parish community as an Altar server, Lector, Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist, Social Committee Organizer, and a team member that spread the Cursillo Movement to military in Europe.

Faith Formation

I was a catechist for 27 years, primarily teaching teenagers and adults in the Office of Christian Initiation of Adults. I also developed and taught adult faith formation classes.

A personal word: I am in my eighth decade of life, and I have undertaken this work out of love for our faith and concern for the future of Faith Formation. I have personally funded the publication of this book, and any profits will be given to a Christian charity.
