About the Book

Blood, Sweat, Tears

From birth, I was ushered in life with no fear
Like grandfather before the Grand Inquisitor in my Andalusia fatherland swallowed blood, sweat, and tears
I had no beginning, have no end. The Alpha, the Omega
Like Russian roulette defies death and hell, I bet no wager
Deceived, defiant, a rebel with a cause
Vicious, unyielding, ungodly, I am my own national guard,
Demand command with absolute authority, I boss
Eternal punishment
Burn forever, I laugh
Eternally lost

In memory of my grandfather, who faced the Inquisition in my Andalusia and gave me this poem as my torturer for his years in the Inquisition of the Jesuits, Auschwitz’s death camp of every cult.

“Abuelor muer inocente mi ciudad eterna Andalusia”

Tu seriente, Pablo Tobia
