Currently serving as the Assistant Dean at the School of Medicine, and the Chief Innovation Officer of the Health System at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Dr. Pillay is at the forefront of driving healthcare innovation. His work focuses on leveraging cutting-edge technologies to improve patient outcomes, enhance operational efficiency, and address global health challenges. Notably, Dr. Pillay is also the Executive Director of the Heersink Institute for Biomedical Innovation at UAB.
