ORIGINAL UNUSUAL ART WITH SENSE OF HUMOUR

This book will show the world that we don’t have to be perfect and none of us are. I have painted Art for years through epilepsy with slight psychosis. I am now fifty four years old. I have suffered since I was in my twenties.

This book is more up to date unusual and normal Art. I love doing unusual art. It makes my Art very original. Art as we are told is very good therapy and it has helped me for years. I hope this book inspires others to do Art, you don’t have to be a genius to draw or paint. I am in a better place today mentally to do this book and I can honestly say Art has helped me and I hope it helps you also. Enjoy my book.

A Life of Art

Christina Fox has accumulated an extensive collection of artwork over the past two decades, serving as a visual chronicle of her battle with epilepsy and psychosis. Alongside her artistic endeavors, she has engaged in prolific writing, but recently decided to convey her experiences with illness through the medium of art.

Hailing from an Irish Catholic background, Christina grew up in a household of ten siblings, including five girls and three boys. Through her creative expression, she seeks to illustrate the deeply personal nature of mental illness, shaped by individual upbringing and life experiences. For Christina, her illness exacerbated in her teens, with her Roman Catholic upbringing playing a significant role, instilling obsessions with religion, Egyptian culture, and love.

Now at 48 years old, Christina acknowledges her ongoing struggle with illness as she embarks on the creation of this book. She remains uncertain about the outcome, expressing both hope and surprise at the prospect of producing a tangible result. Furthermore, she is curious to gauge the reception of her artwork, eager to see if others will find it as compelling as she does.
