About the Books

BEYOND DIVORCE

The primary purpose of the Beyond Divorce curriculum is to help you survive the process
of divorce and successfully move on from it.  It takes two people to create a marriage, but it only takes one to create a divorce. Sometimes, divorces are mutually agreed to, but more often than not, it is only one that really wants to call it quits and move on.

This curriculum will help you understand the emotional roller coaster ride you are on and is designed to help you take control of your circumstances and reduce the amount of stress you are dealing with.

Eventually, once you get your life back on track and reestablish a good vertical relationship with God, there is a good chance that God will bring someone into your life that He has chosen for you. A few examples of the issues dealt with in this curriculum are:

  1. How to deal with becoming an ex-spouse/co-parent
  2. How to deal with your co-parent
  3. How to deal with the co-parent’s new spouse

Eventually, once you get your life back on track and reestablish a good vertical relationship with God, there is a good chance that God will bring someone into your life that He has chosen for you. The Snapps’ Blended Families curriculum would be the next step in helping you get your head and your heart right for that special person God brings into your life

BLENDED FAMILIES PREMARITAL EDITION

ANATOMY OF A BLENDED FAMILY

This pre-marital curriculum is based on scripture taken from the King James Version of the Holy Bible. It has been written as a guide for those who plan to remarry after going through a divorce or the loss of a spouse.

The principles outlined in this study will help you learn how to put a Godly marriage together where one did not exist before. Our desire is to help you first recognize and then deal with many of the pitfalls found in marriage in general and remarriage in particular.

We will take you through Scripture and follow the road map God laid out for marriage in the beginning. We will start the study by laying the foundation for what a Godly marriage should be. From there, we will work on how to deal with the many obstacles and traps that couples often run into.

Some of the topics we will deal with include the following: baggage of past failed marriages, remarriage after divorce, remarriage after the death of a spouse, geographical, age, religious and racial cultural differences, in-law issues and step-parenting and single-parenting skills.

We hope to reach one home, one man, one woman or even one child at a time, teaching them God’s plan for marriage.
