BESSY THE BOSSY BEAR

She tosses and flosses and has no losses

Bessy is a big, bossy bear who lives deep in the forest. Although she has beautiful white teeth — thanks to her parents and Dr. Raccoon — her attitude toward others is rude and controlling. She embarrasses Mr. Squirrel and upsets the forest animals.

The animals, wanting to be Bessy’s friends and inspired by their faith in God, pray for her to change. They fast, pray in agreement, and ask Jesus to help Bessy become kind. Bessy, touched and a little embarrassed during the process, agrees to let them pray for her. Their prayers work, and Bessy transforms into “Bessy the Beautiful Bear”—kind, caring, and considerate.

Motivated by her new outlook and love for others, Bessy goes to forestry dental school, becomes a certified dentist, and opens a dental clinic in the forest. She teaches animals how to care for their teeth and offers free dental care and scholarships to those in need.
