Retired from a career in the United States Navy as a Radioman Chief Petty Officer, William (Bill) Paul Castillo’s return to civilian life brings with him the burden of a brief love affair with a Navy Nurse aboard a United States hospital ship, the USS Sanctuary. His chance encounter with Diane Fulton left her pregnant with his child, something he did not learn until much later in life
Bill lives with the burdens and memories of his Navy profession. Bill struggles to realize that he can free himself from the burden and conflicts in his own life by personally understanding the origin of deeply implanted archetypes to achieve his private escape from the shadow of Kukulkan.
If he could escape from the shadow of Kukulkan his life would be filled with love, family and good friends, the gifts of a promising and auspicious future.
