About the Author
Janice Burnette lives with her husband, Roy, in Sylva, North Carolina. They have three children and two grandchildren. Janice, a retired schoolteacher, spent many of her years as a reading specialist, having received training focused on work with beginning and struggling readers. She currently teaches preschoolers in Sunday school and Mission Friends at her church. She enjoys playing piano and organ, reading, doing various kinds of puzzles, and exploring our national and state parks.
