Sleepy Tears Laughing Tears

Sleepy Tear Laughing Tears is the story shared with my grandchildren during quality times. Grandchildren have hard time believing that grandparents were children too. Please share many laughs together.

Sleepy Tears Miss You Tears

This story is about a phone conversation with the grandchildren. The words they say, their voices, their smiles are felt in the heart. My husband and I have three adult children and three grandchildren. We are both retired and are blessed with these three little ones. We wish we could stop time and keep them small a little longer. Oh, what joy they bring to our life’s! Love you forever.

The Sheer Curtain

This short novel is dedicated to my wonderful family: my children, Cathy, Fernando, Phillip; my grandchildren Jozette, Alaena, Phoenix; and my husband, Max.

The novel is especially written for an audience of young readers or adults who choose to have a child’s imagination.

It was such fun for me to develop the characters and scenes of this mystery. It all starts with a woman’s silhouette that appears on the third-floor window of this old Victorian mansion. No one in the town of Sneila has ever seen her except when she stands behind the sheer curtain.

The children of the town look forward to Halloween every year. The children together walk down the dirt road to the mansion that sits at the edge of town behind enormously tall trees and a black iron fence. Every Halloween, the children know that, in front of the mansion outside the gate, there will be a mysterious white cauldron filled with magic candies for each child. The candies are in baggies with each child’s name written on the front of the baggie. How does she know every child’s name? Where does this candy come from? The children agree that the candy is very different, like it’s out of this world. These are only two of the mysteries that exist in the town of Sneila.

Much mystery lives in the town of Sneila. The number of people in this town never changes. When one person dies, another is born. People who die are not buried. The number 8 appears throughout the town. Sometimes you have to add two digits to find the 8. The infinity symbol appears throughout the novel.

Magic turtles surface and communicate with the two main characters, Samantha and Victoria. Flickering lights, hidden doors, basement, baskets, spaceships, magic turtles, mysterious bubbles, candles, and fairies create a magical kingdom.

Wrinkles and gray hair are witnesses to times past. The surprise ending is sure to give you goose bumps!

Friends and Angels

Our life is filled with friends and angels. God sends us angels in disguise. I believe my mother was an angel on earth sent to earth to be my mom and teach me about Gods love. I was an only child; living, loving and learning from my angel. She is now an angel in heaven. Each friend comes into our life for a special purpose; they learn from us, we learn from them, sometimes they stay and sometimes they leave. Often we wonder about friends who are no longer around us. Perhaps their mission in our lives was fulfilled and they moved on. The first poem is about my seven life friends. We meet, we laugh, we celebrate, we eat, we cry and we have remained friends throughout the years (Gloria, Alva, Ancelma, Thelma, Sally, Julie, Maria Elena.) Thank you for a beautiful friendship. God’s love for us is real!

The poems are easy to read and inspired by my devotion and love for Christ. I wish to thank my mother Catalina R. Garcia for teaching me about God’s Love. A message to my loving dad Refugio Garcia; thank you dad God Bless you in heaven.

The Sworceracs Journey

This story is about the Sworceracs that live on Mr. Wilson’s farm. The Sworceracs need hay to prepare for a frigid cold winter approaching. They have lost most of their hay. Mr. Wilson use to come out to the field and stuff them with hay. Those were the good old days. They still chuckled as they recall how the dry fresh hay tickled them.

Mr. Wilson was getting too old and could not walk out to the field to fill the Sworeracs with hay. The Wilsons children were now grown and moved to the big city. The Sworceracs and all the farm animals loved Mr. and Mars Wilsons.

Buford the hound dog was old now and just layed on the worn out carpet that displayed his name. Samantha the cat just slept all day. She use to jump through the tall dry grass hunting for mice. All the Sworceras would laugh and laugh at her. Eddie and Tillie the house mice were now happily married. Those were the good old days.

The three Sworceras Yelims, Ydoow and Yllis must find the king and bring back some hay for the Sworeracs. Along the way, they meet new friends who also need hay. The wind blows stronger and colder as they made their way down the country dirt road. They walked and walked and walked looking for the king’s castle. Surely, he would give them hay. They heard he was the oldest Sworceracs and he was a good and kind king.

The Secret Meeting of the Sworceracs

The Secret Meeting of the Sworceracs is a silly story about the scarecrows in Mr. Wilson’s farm. The scarecrows are upset that the crows are landing on their heads and making fun of them. The scarecrows don’t like their name and want to change it. The crows heard that the scarecrows are planning a secret meeting. The crows sneak up to the meeting to hear what all the ruckus is about.

The mouse Eddie surprises everyone by coming up with the name that everyone agrees is the perfect name for the scarecrows. Eddie has a surprise too! He falls in love with a beautiful mouse that he saw for the first time at the meeting.

Stay tuned for the “Wedding of Eddie and Tillie.” The secret of the new name of the scarecrows will be revealed as Eddie tells his beloved Tillie how brilliant he is! It was fun to write this silly book. It is my hope that you enjoy reading it.
