The Rev. Dr. Gary Nicolosi is an Episcopal priest and attorney, as well as the author of four books and numerous articles featured in both church and secular publications. He has served congregations of diverse sizes in urban, suburban, and rural settings across the United States and Canada.
Gary, though retired, remains an active priest in the Episcopal Diocese of Arizona. He has worked as interim Rector at two local churches and served as a permanent supply priest. Currently, he continues to assist various churches across the diocese. In 2025, he led a five-week culture shift seminar for the Anglican Diocese of Montreal.
Gary also provides pro bono legal services in immigration and veterans’ law in Arizona. He belongs to the New York Bar, the American Bar Association, and the New York State Bar Association. As the founder of the Institute of Law and Religion, he leads efforts dedicated to exploring how law, religion, and morality influence American culture.
Gary holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Fordham University and a Master of Arts in Philosophy from Georgetown University. He earned his Juris Doctor from Temple University Beasley School of Law, his Master of Divinity from Trinity College at the University of Toronto, and his Doctor of Ministry from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. He currently resides in Peoria, Arizona with his wife, Heather, and their daughter, Allison.
