Unspeakable Journey: A Life Lived Amongst Words & Letters is a collection of poems and letters follows a young man navigating sexuality, spirituality, and racial identity while serving during Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell and the AIDS crisis. Through trauma, mental-health battles, abuse allegations, and multiple cancer diagnoses, he fights to hold onto faith and masculinity — revealing the cost of living for others and the courage required to finally choose himself.
