The fast, progressive pace and modern trends will keep Germany in the forefront of technological development in years to come. The modern and liberal trends of the youth will also bring Germans toward keen development of modern sociological pursuits in the form of a competitive spirit, which will not let the German soul be outmaneuvered or surpassed by other nations of Western Europe.
My personal observations enlightened me of the awareness of its people, the high quality and astuteness in education, marketing, technical development, and pure entrepreneur spirit, keeping Germany ahead of the rest of Western Europe! The potential quality the Germans can inject into the European market in future years and with the coming currency, the Euro, will be an interesting venture for Germany, East and West, and can benefit all of Europe.
Whether the social pressures of past “Gastarbeiter” (guest workers) will continue to impact the nation remains to be seen. Also the upward elevation, economically, of the Cold War–torn eastern half of Germany will be interesting to follow.
