D.R. Giovengo is a retired U.S. Department of State Foreign Service Officer (Diplomat). He held numerous positions responsible for Embassy operations in France, Albania, Kuwait, Pakistan, Switzerland and Iraq. In Iraq he managed the Medical Services Support Iraq Program. With the Department he was posted as a Diplomat in Residence at the University of Illinois in Chicago and the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and Allegheny College.
Before joining the Department, he was the HR Director at a large retail corporation headquartered in Pittsburgh. Also, while in the U. S. a high school soccer coach for many years. He holds an MA in business ethics and leadership from Duquesne University and BA from the University of Pittsburgh and resides in Pittsburgh.
